Night Cairo tour with Respect Egypt Tours

Feb 2026 • Friends

We had the absolute best experience with our guide, Reda. From the very beginning, she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought so much depth and context to everything we saw, but explained it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, not overwhelming. Reda struck the perfect balance between professional and personable. She made us feel safe, taken care of, and genuinely excited to be there. You could tell she truly loves what she does, and that passion made the entire experience unforgettable. She was attentive to our questions, mindful of our pace, and always one step ahead, whether it was navigating crowds, sharing historical insight, or making sure we were comfortable. Having her as our guide elevated the entire trip. If you get the chance to tour with Reda, take it. She was simply great.

A great guide working for a great tour company

The pre-tour customer service support was the best I’ve experienced for a day trip in a dozen years of travel – highly responsive and clear – including accommodation of my late modification to the itinerary. My thanks to Nada. My guide on a private tour to the GEM and Old Cairo Museum, Laila, is young but knows her subject matter and explains things well. Often with day trip guides you can tell that they know the script but are less comfortable with broader or deeper questions. That is not true of Laila. She has put in the homework needed to know Egypt’s extensive history. She really knows her way around both museums, too, which helped maximize my time. And she has a friendly, casual style that makes her comfortable to be with for a full day. I would not hesitate to request her for another tour. Our driver, Ayman, was excellent. He called me at the hotel the day before the tour to confirm the pick up time. I’ve never had that happen on any other tour. It was a nice touch. On the drive he was good at pointing out local sections of Cairo and landmarks, and was deft at getting off the main road and cutting through a residential section to pick up our guide (it was interesting to see neighborhoods up close).

Great trip !!

Our group of four had an excellent visit to Egypt in mid January, thanks to Respect Egypt Tours. We had built a custom tour for four family members to pick us up at the airport, secure visas, get around Cairo and Luxor, take us to all the must-see sites, and generally babysit us. This tour company exceeded our expectations. Our guides were Wael in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor, both skilled, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Respect Egypt Tour coordinator, Nada, was more attentive before and during the tour than any I have ever worked with. We highly recommend this company to all who want some hands on when they visit Egypt.

Answers of the questions you're thinking about

Have a Question?

During the Old Kingdom roughly 4500 years ago, skilled workers built the Pyramids of Egypt, challenging the popular belief that they were constructed by slaves. These sound structures served as the ultimate burial chambers, representative of the power of the pharaohs, and a shrine for the rest of the world to keep them rich in their afterlife. These archaeological sites bring through the artistry and creative capacity of a powerful civilization that believed in life after death.

  1. The Great Pyramid of Giza was the tallest structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
  2. The Pyramids are aligned precisely with the cardinal points of the compass.
  3. Over 2 million limestone blocks were used to build the Great Pyramid.
  4. The pyramids were originally covered in smooth white casing stones that reflected sunlight.
  5. The Pyramid of Khufu is the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The Pyramids of Egypt, a well-known tourist attraction, are on the Giza Plateau which lies about 25 kilometers away from Cairo. Among these sites are the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the noteworthy Sphinx. About pyramids, there are also the less-known pyramids at Saqqara and Dahshur which help in advancing the knowledge and understanding of the development of pyramids.

The Great Pyramid of Giza, the largest of the Pyramids of Egypt, was built around 2,560 BCE, making it over 4,500 years old. This remarkable structure has withstood the test of time, continuing to inspire awe with its ancient mystery and architectural brilliance.

It is not enough for us at Respect Egypt Tours to provide you with a mere view of the Pyramids of Egypt; we make sure that you have a good time with professional Egyptologists who share your excitement. All our clients are from air-conditioned cars to cost-effective and hassle-free tailor-made services to help you enjoy your trip to the fullest.

Undoubtedly! In case you would like to visit more pyramids like the Pyramids of Saqqara or wish to spend some more time at the Giza Plateau, we would be happy to include such activities in the tour. With Respect Egypt Tours, every experience is specifically designed to ensure that there is always something to remember.
